Prepare a scanned contract
Checkiny can analyze PDF/DOCX files when the file contains real text. Image-only scans need OCR before analysis.

Open the PDF and try selecting a sentence. If you cannot select text, it is probably a scan.

Use your scanner, PDF app, or OCR tool to recognize text and export as a text-based PDF or DOCX.

Upload the new file again, or paste the OCR text directly into the fallback box on the upload page.
