Overview

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of DBA Check by business customers. By using the service, you agree to these terms on behalf of your organization.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using DBA Check, you confirm that you are authorized to bind your organization to these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use the service.

Service Description & Not Legal Advice

DBA Check provides AI-assisted contract analysis and compliance indicators for freelancer engagements in supported jurisdictions.

All outputs are indicative and informational only. DBA Check does not provide legal representation or binding legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is created through use of the service.

You remain solely responsible for legal, tax, HR, and contractual decisions, including verifying compliance with applicable labor and tax laws.

Subscriptions & Payments

Paid plans are billed through Stripe under the pricing displayed at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing cycle.

Fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started, including partial-month usage, unused checks, or unused features, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or levies related to your subscription.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DBA Check and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, or reputational damage.

DBA Check is not liable for tax assessments, social contribution claims, penalties, fines, or enforcement actions imposed by authorities (including, without limitation, Belastingdienst, RSZ/ONSS, or similar authorities).

Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the total amount paid by your organization to DBA Check during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to liability.

Fair Use Policy

The Business Plan includes unlimited individual contract checks under our Fair Use Policy. To prevent network abuse, automated or high-volume batch processing is capped at 500 contracts per month. Usage beyond this may be restricted.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

Any dispute arising from or related to these terms or the service shall be submitted to the competent courts in the Netherlands, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
